The Fiction was an experimental band that combined elements of rock and soul to forge their sound. Originating in Long Beach, CA and founded by singer, songwriter Josh Fischel (Rest in Peace).
Fronted by Fischel and co-produced by Kris “NatureboyRD” Jackson, one album has been released entitled “Quixotic”, the album features many of Long Beach’s finest musicians. Forknspoon Music is honored to have been able to release what is sadly the final album of a brilliant musician and great friend.
Josh Fischel is best remembered as the soulful singer and frontman of “Bargain Music” as well as the founder and director of “Riot Stage” theater.
